Beauty

This amazing Rocky Mountains tour includes the crown jewels of USA national parks - Carlsbad Caverns, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Glacier - but it also visits eight more!  Add one state park, two national monuments, and four great resort towns - and you have The Epic American West Tour.

Luxury

While we do stay in some nice hotels, a few of the places we want you to see are so remote and wonderful it's fortunate there are clean comfortable rooms nearby. We offer the greatest luxury of all - time. We take a full month (two week segments available) to travel between the Mexican and Canadian borders. We stop for great sunsets.

Space

Not the final frontier, but the wide open sort you imagine when you think of the American West. We travel in the quiet months of September, October, and May. We avoid the summer crowds and limit our own group to thirty people.

Variety

No other route in the world can provide such a spectrum of natural wonders and human activity. And, unlike standard motorcoach tours, WE TRAVEL WITH TWO VEHICLES. The entire group does not need to do the same thing at the same time - all of the time. Our ability to provide optional excursions as part of the basic tour cannot be matched.

Culture

Modern and ancient. You will have unscheduled days to explore on your own the best in art, music, and cuisine in places like Santa Fe, New Mexico - Aspen, Colorado - Jackson, Wyoming - and Whitefish, Montana. Trace the history of European settlement throughout the region. Let archeology add perspective with visits to the aboriginal ruins at Bandelier National Monument and Mesa Verde National Park - and perhaps the pictographs in Horseshoe Canyon.

Special Notice

Many of the destinations we visit have experienced dramatic increases in visitor numbers in the last few years. By avoiding the months of July and August we will miss the largest crowds, but that strategy alone will no longer assure availability of the accommodations and activities we want to provide for you.

Our goal is to have every tour completely reserved one full year in advance of the departure date of that particular tour.

Beginning in August 2018, if any tour is not sold out nine months prior to its departure date - we will not run that tour.

If you are looking for somewhere to go in the next few months, please put that aside for a moment and think about where you might want to go next year - or even the year after that. Perhaps you have never before planned a vacation so far in advance, but if you can, the reward will be one of the best journeys of your life.

Our first job as your guide is to provide you with the advice you need to have the best possible experience. We will then take you to some of the most beautiful and desirable destinations in the world - located in some of the least populated areas of the United States.

The secret to our success is to start planning ahead of everyone else.
